Private Country Club Hospitality Jobs - Cook
Edgewood Country Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pool Snack Shack Cook to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a hospitality environment and are committed to providing excellent service to our guests.
Our Snack Shack Cook is responsible for cooking delicious foods from a limited menu for our pool patrons. This role requires responsibility for taking food orders, charging Member accounts using the point-of-sale system, maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant, clearing limited tables and running food to tables and patrons around the pool.
Some fast-food, entry-level cook, or customer service experience is preferred. Must come to work interested in socializing with our Membership and possess an upbeat, friendly personality! This is a temporary, seasonal full-time position that offers a competitive hourly wage through September, with possible options to transfer to the Main Kitchen once the pool closes.
Job Tasks (Duties)
- Prepare and serve quick meals and treats including hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, wraps, French fries, and more.
- Greet guests with a smile, offer menu suggestions, and provide outstanding customer service.
- Process transactions quickly and accurately, responsibly handle money and digital payments, and keep the line moving.
- Wipe down counters, ensure food safety standards, and maintain a tidy, welcoming Snack Shack.
- Coordinate with Executive Chef and fellow cooks to handle busy times, restock and organize supplies and inventory, and keep everything running smoothly.
Compensation Package
- Non-exempt Pay: $12hr to $14/hr depending on experience
